1st Stop Health Cancellation & Refund Policy

 

By booking an appointment with 1st Stop Health, you acknowledge and accept the terms of the following cancellation policy;

Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings;
    • For treatments up to £99: £20 deposit
    • For treatments over £99: 25% of the treatment cost
  • Deposits will be deducted from the total treatment cost on the day of your appointment.
  • Consultation appointments and patch test appointments have a non-refundable fee of £15 due at time of booking. This fee is deducted from the cost of your first treatment
  • This policy helps us manage our schedule efficiently, reduce missed appointments, and ensure availability for all clients. It also covers part of the time and preparation allocated to your appointment.
  • Our priority is to provide a professional, safe, and respectful environment. You will never be pressured into undergoing a treatment. We allocate time and resources specifically for you — and our deposit policy is designed to reflect that balance of respect and responsibility.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Deposit Transfers

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
  • Less than 48 hours’ notice will result in loss of your deposit.
  • Non-attendance or missed appointments will also result in the forfeit of your deposit and may require full prepayment for future bookings.
  • If you cancel with more than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit is still non-refundable but may be transferred once to a future booking at our discretion. Your deposit may be transferred to:
    • A future appointment of the same treatment, or
    • A different service or treatment of your choice within our clinic.
  • Transfers are subject to availability and must be arranged within 2 months.
  • Repeated cancellations may result in the requirement of full payment upfront for future appointments.

Late Arrivals

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to complete your treatment and your deposit may be forfeited.
  • We will always try to accommodate you where possible, but late arrivals may be rescheduled and treated as a late cancellation.

Right to Withdraw Consent

  • You have the right to withdraw consent at any time, including just before or during treatment.
  • We respect your right to withdraw consent, and your comfort, safety, and autonomy are our top priorities.
  • However, please note that if you choose not to proceed with treatment on the day, your deposit will not be refunded, as time, resources, and staffing have already been allocated for your appointment.
  • If you change your mind during the appointment, it may be possible to use that appointment time and deposit for an alternative service or treatment, at our discretion.
  • Change of treatment or service at time of appointment is not guaranteed and conditions apply.

Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations with notice, and if you change your mind or withdraw consent on the day
  • Completed treatments are non-refundable, except in cases of treatment fault or verified adverse reaction, in line with UK consumer rights law
  • If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment so we can assist you appropriately.
  • We welcome all client feedback and will discuss any concerns to find a fair resolution

Emergency Exceptions

  • We understand emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible, we may waive cancellation fees at our discretion for genuine emergencies.

Blood Tests

  • We do not offer any type of refund for any blood test kits, including at home kits and in clinic kits, once the box has been opened, whether opened at home or in the clinic. This is because once they have been opened, they cannot be resold or returned to the laboratory due to infection control risks and contamination risks. The laboratory does not accept returns of opened test kits.
  • At home test kits will be refunded if they are returned unopened, unused and undamaged within 14 orders of purchase date. The buyer is responsible for returning the test kit, including the price of postage

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are available for all treatments & services, are non-refundable and must be produced at the time of use.
  • Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. You can transfer the Gift to another person, but the vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • We cannot accept liability for lost gift vouchers
